Monday, February 22nd, 2010What do you think of Charter Schools?
I went to one from kindergarden to 5th grade. I loved it so much. From just elementry school, we learned the math, writing, science, history, reading, and technology that we will need in the real world. We did typing, computers, web design (I think, but it’s been a while so i’m not sure on that one), photo editing, checking, banking, learning how to save money, focus on a career. We did math in 5th grade that I learned at my public school in 7th. And it was only stuff that we needed to learn. The only reason I left was because, for some reason, they moved the middle/ high school part somewhere else. So I went to public school. I’m honestly getting sick of it. Do you think I should go back to a high school charter school? I live in michigan. Tell me if you think the following school(s) is(are) good.

I teach at a charter school, and I absolutely love it. If you are looking for academic excellence (in my area), our school is second to none. I took a brief look at summit academy’s website, and it appears to sound a lot like the charter I work at. If your heart is pulling you there, then I say go for it! Best of luck in whatever you decide.
