Is Point Loma Nazarene University a good college?
It looks gorgeous and going to college by the beach would be a dream! I’m applying to Biola University and Azusa Pacific University also (I know I’m late in applying!).
I know that Point Loma doesn’t have the academic reputation of the other two, but could I still eventually get into a prestigious graduate program after going here? Could I transfer out after two years into a UC school?
What do you think? Good idea or no?
I went to Point Loma for two years, and I absolutely loved it. I thought living on the beach would distract me from studying, but it did the exact opposite. I checked out Biola before deciding, and I just wasn’t impressed. I have had a few friends graduate from Azusa who loved it there too. I think it depends on the kind of environment you want. I definitely suggest visiting the schools you are interested in. Good luck!
